“I PASSED THE STATE BOARD EXAM TWICE ON THE FIRST TRY!!!!!! I went to Excelsior to obtain my CNA and Ms. McCarthy and her partners are very hands on and involved in your learning and success. The curriculum and discipline that she provides in her program is much needed! I passed the state board exam the first time on the first try back in 2020 and I ended up having to take the test again after 2 years to renew my license. Ms. McCarthy guided me through the renewal process and got me back on track right away and by studying the information she has in her program I PASSED AGAIN, FOR THE SECOND TIME, ON THE FIRST TRY!!! “I joined this club little bit over a month ago and so far I feel that this is one of the best service providers in the area. Their rates are relatively low as compared to their competitors at the Paine field and planes are super clean and are always hangered. They use MoGas in the planes which makes them environmental friendly. Everyone is super professional and friendly. They want to make sure that you treat the planes as if you own them so if you are looking to buy a plane, I'd suggest spend a year in this club to learn how to take care of the plane.”

“I had a great experience getting my Private Pilot completed with Black Hound. All staff members were very personable and they are collectively a good group of people. In fact, I had a deadline to meet and Marty worked with me all throughout the holidays to ensure I was prepared and ready for my checkride. Talk about customer service! Not only is the team great, but the aircraft are as well. The planes are well maintained, and I had a blast learning how to fly on 172JD. If you're looking for a school house, go with these guys. I highly recommend them and cannot imagine myself having a better experience elsewhere.”

“I am so incredibly amazed at the talent and capability of each show I've watched from this school via TUTS. I have been fortunate enough to know a performer for the past several years, whose parents always remember to keep me looped in on the upcoming shows. Every single year, I am in a state of awe. This year, the show was "The Addams Family" (June 7), and it was the most awesome performance. The students of this school must devote endless hours to perfect their performance, and it shows. The talent is exceptional and as a person who understands music to a decent degree, I can never detect mistakes. The performances offer so much to the city of Houston, and at the Miller theater, they are free, donations are kindly encouraged. Even with the donation, it's beyond a bargain for us. I love Broadway, off-Broadway and similar shows, and these could rival those easily, for a fraction of the cost. Everyone should check out the TUTS Humphreys performances, and plan on having an excellent time. Note that seated tickets are available on first come, first served basis, but they sell out fairly quickly. The lawn seats are mostly open until just before the show, based on what I've seen. However, plan ahead. The seated area benefits from some AC, which is helpful in the summer.”
