“I lost Alt 1 on my approach to Newport News one afternoon. Not being familiar with the area, I researched maintenance shops online and found Rick Aviation at the airport. John (the owner) took my call and jumped into action. He took my Cirrus into his hanger and personally investigated and found the issue — a broken terminal connection on the #4 wire to Alternator one and a broker stud on the Alternator. This occurred on a Friday afternoon and I needed to return home on Monday. John ordered a new alternator which arrived Monday, installed, tested, etc and had me and my Cirrus ready to go. As it turns out John is celebrating 42 years in business (2019) and there’s no wonder because his shop and facilities are spotless and his employees are talented. John’s charges were very reasonable and he lived up to his promises. I can’t recommend John and Rick Aviation at Newport News Airport (KPHF) more highly. JW, South Carolina”

“I am currently going to this school right now, and we have 3 more weeks of theory before moving on to clinicals. The instructors are great and knowledgeable. They have been in the field or are currently working in the field while teaching so they know what is going on in the industry. The course work is in depth and there is a lot to learn. They to teach you the right way to do things, and only the right way so you don't get into bad habits early while going to school. I would recommend this program to anyone who is interested.”

“For a school that many people have not heard of, Baruch has a surprisingly good reputation in NYC. It is best known for its large Accounting network as the Big 4 hire heavily from Baruch. The Master of Financial Engineering program is the #2 ranked program in the world (ahead of MIT). I doubt many people on GMAT Club are applying to the MFE program, but it does bolster the reputation of the school a bit in the Finance field. The Full-Time MBA program is 50% international which is why it is important that the Big 4 recruit heavily from Baruch since they offer sponsorship. However, if you are not an Accounting major, you might find the internship recruiting a bit tougher. It is definitely on the student to dedicate substantial time to recruiting, as he/she should not rely on career advisors to hold his/her hand through the process. That being said, Baruch really is a decent Business School as long as you are not expecting the same treatment from recruiters that your peers at NYU or Columbia will receive. It is obviously a lower-tier school, but the tuition is affordable (especially if you are a New York resident), and they also offer many partial scholarships. The cost of living should definitely be a factor, as Baruch is located in the heart of Manhattan, so about 50% of the full-time MBA program lives outside Manhattan.”

“I’m really glad I chose to do my LPN here. I’ve looked everywhere, and made my deduction to start my career here. School is small but very personal. You’ll get to know everyone by name, and be able to communicate with every one in administration in person, when ever you want. Everyone who works here has a great attitude and personality.
