“We recently moved back to the area and were looking for a new vet. In the meantime, our little doggy Daisy started to get sick. They were so accommodating to get her in right away on a Friday. To our surprise, the Dr. called us on a Saturday morning with the test results and had a plan of action, including getting her in for a follow-up right away. One of the most impressive things was that when things went beyond their scope of expertise, they recommended us going to an emergency vet in Madison. When Daisy, unfortunately, passed a week later, the staff here were amazing and called us to say they were sorry to hear about our loss. Incredibly above and beyond and very thoughtful.”

“We usually take Tex to his normal vet who always does so well with him but have recently moved over an hour away, making the drive too much for him. Thrive was close to home and very affordable. Tex can be an absolute handful in new settings while being around new people considering his terrible anxiety. That being said, they did very well with my energetic pup and I appreciate how sweet and helpful the vet was herself!! The receptionist was nice too and created a welcoming tone to start the visit off with.”

In the 7 months that I have been a dog owner, I have called this office a million times to ask random questions about my dog's health and when to be concerned, and they are always super helpful! When my dog got really sick a few weeks back, they made time in their busy schedule to get her in and helped me understand everything I needed to do to help her get better! I think everybody is always concerned about a vets office trying to get them to spend more money than necessary or be taken advantage of, but I can confirm that doesn't happen here! “My dog became very ill due to cancer. 🎗️😔 I paid $300 to put my dog to sleep, have her cremated and I get to have her ashes back. I was offered different available choices... I got the biodegradable ashes in a bag so we can plant Rosy (our dog) under a tree. The bag comes with seeds to grow her ashes with roses🌹🌹 Good price, Staff were professional, quick, gave us same day service and we were attended quickly. We we're allowed to stay with our dog throughout the process (including my 13 year old). We were provided assistance with getting our dog off the truck and onto a gurney and we were provided a quiet room to grieve. I am really grateful to have this caring hospital in Bakersfield and grateful to have caring staff to make this process easier and supportive during a difficult time.❤️🏥💯 Thank you ALL❣️”
