“They literally saved my dog’s life after she was attacked by an off leash dog. Our first e-vet couldn’t perform the surgery needed, the next clinic was way out of our budget. Wilson’s was within budget (to be clear, the first place wanted 6k deposit with the bill being up to 12k, Wilson’s was $1800 for deposit and everything said and done it came to $2300 which I was able to afford) and they were so warm and friendly in comparison despite that clinic calling themselves “the best of the best” I felt comfortable leaving her there, the daily updates were wonderful, and when I was having a hard time and requested a photo I received it. I’m forever grateful for the staff for saving my girl.”

“I was nervous to select a reliable vet when I got my first ever dog in my adulthood. Bill and the staff at Old Ridge vet alleviated all my fears. They are kind, responsive, and always explain every process and procedure every visit. I 100% trust leaving my dog there with them. To top it off the place is extremely clean. Could not highly recommend them more!”

“Our cat was very sick and had to be euthanized......they were honestly the best place I’ve ever been to in such short notice and a stressful situation. They cleaned our poor baby up and made sure he was comfortable before we parted ways. They were really good on price and we receive free paw prints for a memorial for him. Definitely recommend to people who may be struggling financially from the pandemic and also in such short notice.”

Dr. Sig is experienced and won’t try and sell you what you don’t need. Very good prices on spay, neuter, & shots. Check out the regular shot clinics if that is all your pet needs. Wide selection of dog food too.”

“It's so nice to have a pharmacy in town again! We typically deal with Sam and Adam, but everyone we've spoken to has been absolutely amazing. The staff is so friendly! I've been going through alot of new health issues lately and Adam has been a godsend. He answers every question I have and helps me talk through every worry. These guys go above and beyond to make sure their patrons are comfortable with their meds and any side effects that may occur. Adam knows exactly who I am when I call, like he's memorized my medical file (and it's not a small one). He even gives me tips, like when to take my meds so they're most effective or so the side effects aren't too intense. We are so happy to welcome Ttown Pharmacy to the community! H”

“If you are looking for a vet that really cares about your pets you found it. I have been taking my two Pugs to Dr. Donna Johnson for years. They can be very hard for Doctors to treat being the special breed they are. They can be very high maintenance as well but, Dr. Donna Johnson cares and remembers my guys and that means a lot to me. Did I mention the cost of the visits are very affordable. Highly recommend.”

“It’s been over a year since I saw this vet. It’s taken me this long to review because I didn’t want to start any issues, but I was needing to bring my pet in and just checked updated reviews and feel Compelled to tell my experience. I brought my dog, dozer, in when he was very sick. He was 14 years old… I had my Beloved companion since he was 7 weeks. He experienced life with me. Dozer was beyond helping.. he was an English bulldog mix and already lived beyond his expected years. Ultimately I had to put him down the day I brought him in… but the issue was the treatment I received by the vet. Dozer lost 15lbs in a week. He began losing weight earlier than month and not really eating, so I made homemade food with rice a rotisserie chicken. He ate it immediately in seconds. Was I avoidIng the inevitable? Yes. It was clear his age was really getting to him… but the thought of having to say goodbye terrified me; and that was selfish. When the vet tech placed dozer on the table, he was so skinny.. he began to relieve himself uncontrollably. The treatment I received was weighted down in such judgement and coldness, it took me aback. I broke down… I’m talking sobbing until I was gagging type Of breaking down. The vet was so cold and I even told him that. I told him he is treating me as if I neglected my dog.. as if I did this.. through sobbing uncontrollably. Even as I said this the vet tech started nodding her head in what seemed like her agreeing with me. After that he tried to act cold more, by saying “I never said that, did I?” And again I sobbed and said “it’s how you are treating me. How you are treating dozer. It’s what you are conveying to me with your eye rolls and cold words”. Again.. I was sobbing horribly throughout this entire time. He then became very compassionate and even had tears in his eyes. I think he made a judgment call and was very wrong; and could clearly see this dog was my life. I’m a single mom to 4 kids.. I didn’t have the money to pour into tests and i was sobbing to him saying i feel like I’m killing my dog. That it was all my fault (god I’m crying now). His words to me were “you could have all the money in the world and I still don’t think it will do any good here. He is a bulldog.. he’s lived a very long Life. The best thing you could do for him is give him peace”; with very noticeable tears in his eyes. So while at first I was devastated by the treatment I received… because I truly believe he was blaming me at first.. he became very compassionate. I don’t know this vet personally. I’m not a family member or employee… I just know he must see some horrible situations and conditions that animals are kept in and I can only imagine the toll it would take on any human being. I left without my beloved best friend that day.. but I did leave with gratitude towards that vet and his employees. We all make mistakes and bad judgement calls; but he truly did make it right and I base my opinions on the change I see in people. I now have dozer with me everyday in a beautiful wood box I got with the cremation… I love that dog so much and miss him horribly and still blame myself; but I try to remember those kind words.”

“Dr Kayla is a wonderful veterinarian. Compassionate, fully explains what she has diagnosed as your pets condition, and what treatment plan she feels is best. This is an extremely busy practice, yet I've never felt rushed or not listened to by the entire staff.”
