“Yeah it's a government agency so expect terrible online presence but people who work at the location are very nice. Do not bring your pet with you, but do feel free to bring your service dog with you. After research I found out I need to go to my vet and get paperwork for my dog prepared and the certificate of the current rabies vaccination 10 days before departure or less. After we got the paperwork from the Arguello Pet Hospital, I came here to get it USDA approved. Took probably 15 minutes all together”

“My boy, Max, was diagnosed with nasal cancer. after having a stroke. He started showing some small signs that there was something growing: mostly clear nasal discharge. I refused to do radiations on him, and my holistic vet suggested Dr. Loops. After a phone consult, I received remedies for Max, and I do believe that they worked since the nasal discharge totally stopped. But he most likely also had a brain tumor mostly linked to the nasal one, and in a week went from good to real bad, and I had to let him go. I am not saying that it would have cured his nasal cancer, but it was obvious it was slowing it down. If I had any other issues with any of my dogs, cancer or something else, I would definitely consult again with Dr. Loops.”

“We take our two dogs here. One for almost 2 years and another for almost 1.5 years. I've used both the boarding and vet. It's a great place and the customer service is good but I agree it's expensive compared to other vets that I've checked, and they do tend up upsell you on other services. That's not to say they force you into buying anything you don't want. You can always decline to pay for something you don't want or need, but when I receive a quote for services I already know it's going to be much higher than many of the competitors in the area. When taking my dogs in for a service I'm mainly concerned about what they *need* not the *extras* if that makes sense. I like taking my dogs here because the vets are patient and seem very concerned about their well-being. They're usually able to fit us in on last minute appointments if needed. Lastly, it's close to home and we don't have to drive across town.”
