“We have been working with Muddy Creek Veterinary Service for the past year with our goat herd. They have always been available to visit our farm to care for our animals in a tight spot. They have gotten us through a particularly tough kidding season and last night saved one of our best does and her three kids during a difficult labor. Their staff is friendly and curtious on the phone when we have questions and there is always a vet on call for emergencies.”

“Exemplary clinic in all aspects; from being able to get urgent appt as a first time patient to having had top notch staff who explained all procedures before, during, and after care. Everyone here was over the top in skills, compassion,empathy, kindness and hugs. There was nothing done extra or offered that was not necessary; Dr. Jones was very astute in her clinical exam, diagnostic testing, and final Diagnosis. The clinic environment is exceptionally clean and organized. Dr. Jones is extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, detailed and compassionate. She and her staff handled our ill pet with gentleness and love. The entire staff was also very supportive and compassionate towards our Family during this most difficult loss of our family pet angel. Though the outcome was sad, we are, nonetheless, eternally grateful for this animal clinic and its entire staff for everything they did. Our family pet child passed peacefully surrounded by her family and Dr. Jones (who comforted and hugged us upon the passing of our pet). “2 days ago, our family had to make that hard decision that all pet owners have had to make...no matter how many times, it never gets easier. Cold, clinical, and efficient...all while the next furry patient waits for the room. Basin Run was the exact OPPOSITE of this. The ‘Comfort Room’ was warm, and likened to a living room. Housed completely separate from the waiting room and exam rooms, you can grieve privately and leave without passing by other pets and their owners. Our Burger was able to lay in a bed, bask in the sun while looking out at the woods, a tranquil fountain in the corner, a cozy couch...no metal table, no tile floor, no one waiting for the room. I didn’t realize how cold the process typically is, until we were shown it didn’t have to be so. Dr. Smetana and the rest of Basin Run’s staff was incredibly compassionate, soft, and warm. They have the unique ability to make you feel in control, in a situation that is completely out of your control. Without a doubt, this is our go-to vet for every single one of our fur babies, from checkups to their final goodbye.”

“Our 13 year old Boxer, Maggie, had become deathly ill. Our family struggled with the reality of her failing health and the amount of pain she was in. We decided to have the veterinarian help her transition. We were all very fearful about the process. However, once we arrived, the staff were all attentive to our requests to make Maggie as comfortable as possible. The "soft room" with a private entrance made things that much easier. We are grateful for the awesome staff that we had the opportunity to meet. They helped this process be less painful.”

“We took our toy poodles here today for their annual visits. What a wonderful staff. Everyone was so friendly to our girls. Dr Cole listened to our concerns and took her time and was very through with her exams. The exam rooms were inviting with soft blankets and quiet doors. But thought this was the best opportunity to also post and extra special thank you to Dr. Jake for being adaptable ... we had some horse loading issues at home, and as such we either were going to be late to the clinic OR we asked if possibly the vet could do annual exams at the barn. Long story shortened, since we had numerous horses to attend to, the team was agreeable for an afternoon stop. Annual exams were completed without a hitch.
