“Otis (our 3yo male cat) had an enlarged bladder and urinary blockage. Dr. Baker immediately saw us and discussed options clearly and thoroughly despite being busy. Otis had to stay overnight for two days and we were able to bring him back his blanket and toys, observe the procedure and view x-rays, and spend time with him throughout the weekend while he had to be treated. I hope of course I don’t have a reason to bring him in again for an emergency, but if I do I will absolutely be going back to VEG in Nanuet. The entire staff at VEG are so welcoming and kind. It’s clear that everyone who works here cares about the animals they are treating and it was much appreciated during a stressful time.”

“I've had my dog Luna for over a year now and we have been seeing Dr Stewart and Dr Jobe since. I recently moved further away and kept intending to find a new vet closer to home, but I don't know if I could ever trust anyone else like I trust them. They are worth the bit of a drive for me. Luna was acting sick a few weeks ago, blood work showed infection, got antibiotics then acted like herself again. Two weeks later she started acting lethargic again. Dr Stewart found time to work her in, even let me drop her off for most of the day as i work night shift and needed to sleep. She found out Luna had pyometra (despite being so young and only having had one heat cycle in her life) and got her into surgery the next day. Dr Stewart even came in on her day off to make sure Luna was taken care of. Im forever grateful for Dr Stewart, Dr Jobe, and all the staff for saving my fur baby's life.”

“Absolute wonderful staff! Warm, caring people who clearly have a love for animals and do not take advantage of distraught pet owners. Dr. Rice saved my baby (2 1/2 year old mastiff) who needed emergency surgery. He cleared his morning schedule to do so and because of that my baby is still with us.
