I was about to leave for a trip in abroad 12 hours and realized I did not have enough of 2 medications that I take daily. After freaking out I decided to go in person and was very skeptical that it would have a positive outcome. She took the time to calmly and nicely assist me with no attitude, no pressure and then assured me she could get my medications filled in 15 mins. Honestly I usually have a negative experience when going to a Walgreens pharmacy whether it’s just busy, rude staff, cranky customers or messy stores. This location on a Thursday night around 11pm impressed me the most. It was clean, stocked, calm, staff was super nice and helpful. Again, Cece was the best, and I’ll come back to this location over my usual stop at Oaklawn and Cedar Springs. Thank you!”

“The experience I had witness here was the best covid recovery/quarantine experience I’ve ever had I didn’t think they would take care of me the way that they did. The hospitality was top notch I have my own room, TV, streaming services WiFi, and a nice reclining chair they even provided me with a notebook to write my thoughts/ideas down (might have to request for the notebook) and the food was great. They even wash your clothes and fold them for you. They also even provided your basic toiletries like toothbrush toothpaste and even soap even though that I brought my own. I couldn’t ask for a better Covid recovery/quarantine experience. If you guys have no safe place to recover/quarantine I would definitely advise you to come Avenue Home AFH.”

“I was visiting Virginia Beach when for the first time in my life, I needed an ambulance. I tripped and injured my face and ankle. I can be a hard critic when it comes to emergency care. Combine that with crankiness and fear, the result can be much less than pleasant for all parties. The ambulance staff made me feel that I was in safe hands and explained every procedure to me. They even had me laughing and smiling by the time we got to the hospital. While I was waiting to be discharged, I saw the same team with another patient. Again, they showed kindness and compassion. Sadly, I didn’t get their names, but they truly made an impression. I was shocked to learn I wouldn’t receive a bill from the ambulance company (too bad the hospital gave me one) and that these young women volunteer to perform this service. A big Thank you to all of Davis Corner Rescue Squad.”
