“You know how those days are, where you need a little quiet time. It's back to school weekend where we raise the little people at church to their parallel Sunday school grade - great bunch of kids. A gracious plenty - then to Grandma's for a TV crime mystery. I just needed a quick pop-in for lunch. China Express is easy to find out by Rucker LN and Franklin RD immediately abutting Cinco de Mayo. It's quick, it's clean, it's easy, it's quite. And parking and ingress and egress is no trouble. You might even find a spot with shade from a tree if the luck holds out. Mongolian Chicken and fried rice - a staple in Chinese-American food was the spot hitting grub of today. The combo plate actually. Generous portions served hot. I know everyone likes to see perfect scores but one suggests perfection. And anyone who follows knows I do try to offer feedback in a polite and helpful way. And food served cool/warm will cost a star ⭐. But, that wasn't the case today. If you like yours hot like I do - check the steam out in the video clip. It really was a great lunch after a full delightful morning. After, I had no trouble slipping off into Sunday afternoon nap mode.”

“Prew academy is a small private school that I wish I knew about sooner. Coming from a nightmare public highschool to here changed my whole life. As someone who has been there for a couple of years and than graduated told me a lot about this place. Firstly the teachers/staff are amazing people who care about each individual student. There isn't a single bad teacher. I respect them for the lessons they bring and personalized teaching. Secondly their pricing is pretty good for being a private school. Finally, the atmosphere is really nice. The forest path was a nice place to do laps when permitted. The lake is beautiful and you can sometimes spot birds or turtles. I could really go on and on. However I won't for the sake of not making the review any longer than it needs to be. I totally recommend this place as a school for anyone. (Well middle and high schoolers, 6-12)”

Recently had a PEX joint leaking in the attic and the brothers came out early morning the next day and fixed it using all the proper connections and tools. Very professional and friendly! “I can’t say enough amazing and incredible things about the extremely talented eye doctor/surgeon, Dr. Mitra Nejad!!! In short, I was living a complete nightmare for 9 months because of a botched cataract surgery. Before that procedure I wore +1.50 low grade prescription glasses for reading, to barely being able to see. My life changed 100% and to say I was miserable is a gross understatement. During those 9 months I did everything I could to find help, I was desperate. My journey was long because I couldn’t find a doctor who knew how to fix my eyesight. Some said it couldn’t be done without “completely losing your eyesight” and the rest said it couldn’t be done… period. Finally one very well respected ophthalmologist told me I was completely screwed and that if it could be fixed it would have to be by a “damn good surgeon”. He then referred me to The Stein Institute at UCLA followed by “that’s where you’ll find some of the best in the country”. That is when my luck changed… the day I met Dr. Mitra Nejad at The Stein Institute/UCLA Medical Center. Professional, caring, highly skilled, highly intelligent, and she knew she could perform this surgery with absolute certainty. Flash forward 3 months, I now have 20/20 vision… don’t need glasses or contacts!!! I am so incredibly blessed to have found her and I’m living proof of her unique skills and what she can do for others. I will never forget this remarkable woman.”

The brunch is a 3 out of 5 The Green Chilaquiles were good but had a very acidic taste (like the green tomatoes weren’t ripe) We also got the Birria Egg Benedict & the potatoes tasted like they were cook and left out for hours, very disappointing. The horchata waffles were pretty good. The food presentation was very good, overall taste could have been better.”
