“I have had a good experience with Lone Star CU in the past, but I recently referred someone to them for a vehicle loan and they have dragged out the loan app for over a month - mostly because they just will not return phone calls. The loan dept is either grossly understaffed or just doesn’t care about customers. Either way, it is a very bad experience. I highly do not recommend them. I’ll update my review if things change in the near future. *** Update *** I was contacted by a manager at Lone Star CU within a few hours of posting my original 2 star review. She apologized for the way my referral was treated and promised to resolve the situation immediately - and she did. The loan rep contacted my referral within a couple of hours and got started on finalizing the loan. The loan is now complete and the loan rep stayed in touch as expected during the last few days of the process. I think they are working through process changes resulting from limited staffing, hours, etc. due to the pandemic. I will definitely use and refer them again.”

“I had stopped here after a very disappointing visit at a different gas station a couple stops back. The hot foot holders and cold food displays were completely empty and it was lunch time. So I had decided to stop at this Gas n Wash and was pleasantly surprised by how stocked the food was and how nice and clean it was displayed. I had a nice conversation with a young lady named Gina who was busy checking the food items and making sure it looked nice. The food I got was hot and fresh. I was very impressed.
