“Darrel and his team really took great care of us! But first, some back story... We had bought three Hyundais from Priority Hyundai since 2019. When the paint on my wife's white 2018 Hyundai began peeling off in 2022, we asked Priority to do something about it. They gave us the runaround throughout most of 2023. We clearly were not a priority! We asked for the manager numerous times. He never returned our calls. Eventually, they took pictures of the vehicle to send up to corporate to get corporate support for fresh paint. We were told to wait at least six weeks to get a response. We checked in at the time we were told to. They never actually sent the pics! Hyundai corporate then told us to try Checkered Flag Hyundai. At this point my wife and I were really frustrated. My wife set an appointment with Checkered Flag a week or two in advance. We got there for our appointment, which was confirmed the day before, and were promptly told they couldn't help us because we didn't buy our vehicle there. Our time was disrespected and wasted! My wife laid into the manager, never using any foul language, but making her frustration clear. Instead of being a problem solver, the manager just told her there's nothing she could do about it. I explained to the lady that we are a Hyundai family and it would be good for their business to handle this situation and take care of our paint. I told them we'd buy future vehicles from them and leave a glowing review. Finally, she agreed to take pictures to send to corporate. The manager never actually sent the pics. We finally went to Hall Hyundai in Elizabeth City. Darrel greeted me with a warm smile and a heart for service! He looked my vehicle over, took pics, and was straight with me. He said he wasn't sure that Hyundai would cover the cost, but he would send the pics in and get back to me in 2-3 days. One day later, Darrel called me to tell me that Hyundai would cover 100% AND provide a rental car while we waited! Darrel was so meticulous and cared so much about getting the job done right that he called me when the paint was initially dry and said, "I'm not happy with how it turned out. I want to get this right. Keep the rental for a few more days." That's a man and a team that takes pride in doing right by their customers!!! A few days later, I returned the rental and picked up the car. Not only was the paint perfect, but they detailed the interior of the vehicle for us as well! Because of Darrel's kindness, because he treated us like valued guests and human beings, because he did not treat us like a number, we will only buy our next Hyundai from Hall Hyundai in Elizabeth City!!! Thank you Darrel and team Hall! You restored our faith in people in the service industry!”

“Brought my vehicle in for a state inspection and oil change, and was surprised at the variety of options they had for customer convenience, including offering what I overheard someone mention was one of their last two loaner vehicles so I could go back to work, even though it was same day service. Everyone I interacted with was exceptionally friendly and helpful (service advisor Dean was the only person introduced by name, but there were several others I spoke with about various things), and I'd happily utilize them in the future. “I have been renting from Mike Norman Realty for years. They have the best selection of properties on the island. They are very quick to respond to any issues that you may have. This year we rented 114 Park Ave. It is a very spacious two bedroom pool home complete with a screened patio other than pool area. The house was immaculate and had the old Florida feel to it like AMI was when I was growing up. Pictures below include the beach path which is gorgeous in its self complete with turtle which was meandering along the path one morning. I call this path "Pathway To Paradise" because it truly is! And then you reach that beautiful turquoise water! It is heaven on earth! ❤❤❤”

(The peanuts are a cool, unique touch.) It only took about five minutes and I was seated. Brando was great.💯 He asked what I wanted to do with my hair, took a bit to listen and then even give some suggestions. I am very happy with the haircut and feel the time was well spent.
