“I used Dean's on a Saturday afternoon after getting my parents lawn tractor stuck in the mud alongside their steep driveway. From picking up the phone to the operator arriving was less than 30 mins. The operator (Todd, I think?) out of the Fairbault location was extremely personable and even showed me how to turn on the front wheel assist (I would've still needed Todd (?) though, I really got 'er buried). Todd (I'm almost positive that was his name) spent time just chatting while doing paperwork and even told my dad to try submitting it to insurance for reimbursement. He was just about to head home when he got the call I needed help. He could've just as easily been annoyed but he was anything but. It sounds like Dean's has an awfully large fleet and an even bigger service area, yet it really felt like a small town company. While maybe a tad more expensive than other tow companies, the quick service and small town feel make it worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Todd! (It started with a T for sure...)”

“Wayne replaced a wood walkway of mine with trex. You can see how well he prepared the base for the walkway - even that looked good! His attention to detail and his craftsmanship is amazing. He noticed an issue with my gazebo step that was rotting as well and rather than overlooking the issue, he told me about it and he fixed that too. He did an amazing job and I would not hesitate to have him back to my home for any type of work that I need done. Thanks, Wayne for a great job!”

Whilst walking down Big Basin waiting for our reservation at The Plummed Horse, we came upon this treasurer of a gallery! We were there so long we were late for dinner. BUT, the best part……I now have a jewel of a painting in my “modern art hall”. It’s a large one (4’x4’) and it dominates the space and I can’t stop staring at it. I’m in love! The moral of the story……whilst waiting for your dinner reservation, walk a block or two down and stop by Arte Haus of Saratoga. The inventory moves, so I stop by whenever I’m town. Thank me later.”

“I purchased a hybrid king size mattress from here. The mattress is super comfortable, provides good support without being too hard, and was at a great price point! We also got bed sheets that were great! The store is clean and the staff was knowledgeable, nice and friendly. “Sushi Heroes is my go to spot to fix my sushi needs when I want to indulge and not feel unsatisfied. They are a ghost kitchen that serves single rolls to platters and as you can see here I usually get the platter to feed multiple people at once. This is a good tray to bring to a potluck with friends & coworkers. The sushi is always fresh and they got a wide variety of rolls named all superhero’s from marvel and dc. If you want there’s benches in front you can just order, pick-up, and eat right in front. However depending on the time of day you may get some sun in your face. This location is in a warehouse plaza that has what looks to be some sort of machine business next door so it may confuse you so follow the gps and look for the signs. They separate the type of rolls into categories like fusion rolls, avenger rolls, side kick rolls, etc. So when ordering a platter the price will vary. Roughly 40-80 for 5 rolls & 125-140 for 9 rolls. My only issue with this is because majority of rolls have nicknames to them, when ordering in the app it doesn’t really tell you what’s inside the roll, only the name. So it’s wise look at their menu first to see the ingredients if you order online.”

“We had such a great stay at the Wandering Dog Inn in August 2025. The room and amenities were wonderful, but the owners, Kevin and Cathy, truly made our stay unforgettable. Kevin is around in the evenings to help with anything that comes up, light the campfire, and have a beer with. Cathy opens in the mornings with an amazing breakfast spread of pastries, eggs, toast and waffles, cereal, fresh juice, tea and coffee, fresh fruit, etc. They are both friendly and knowledgeable about the island. They were so helpful and offered to open up the breakfast a few minutes early on our departure day so we could grab a bite to eat and still depart to get to the ferry terminal in time. Our King Suite was spotless. It was large and well lit, and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was very nice, with fresh towels, soap and shampoo, etc. The air conditioning worked great even in stifling humidity. We can't recommend the inn enough!”
