“The Niagara Apothecary is a beautiful space with a soaring ceiling and chandeliers; glass cabinets which contain many examples of packaging and curious products. The elaborate clock fronted counter at the back has bespoke figures holding what used to be gas-powered orb lights. Behind it visitors may see how herbs were grounded and pills prepared. Learn about common remedies, show globes, and the origin of the Rx symbol. An authentic museum restoration of a 1869 pharmacy as part of a practice that operated in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, from 1820 to 1964. Fun and educational!”

“Called them for help with a toilet hook up and they were able to come the next day which I was surprised they were able to come so fast. We were expecting a big bill but it wasn't, that just topped it off. Would recommend their service was great and fast. No disappointment here!”

“Come see one of the oldest sugar maple trees in Canada, estimated at 300 - 500 years old. The tree itself is surrounded by a fence to help protect it, leaving only a small area for walking and parking for four vehicles. Look for a faded conservation area logo sign on the south side of Metler road marking a single lane dirt road to the tree.”

“My experience at Dr. Hopkins & Associates connected all the dots in a comprehensive annual medical assessment. It is a full service office. Assessment began with several standard optical tests to update and monitor my visual assessment. Digital imagery of the eyes was offered and included at my request to enable a complete assessment. Dr. Hopkins then determined the visual corrections I required and pulled all the accumulated data together to present an easily understandable all inclusive picture of my visual health at this time. I place high value on the comprehensive approach and professional competence offered by Dr. Hopkins. This is reinforced by her active participation in such clinical trials as may be appropriate. This is an important activity to further medical understanding and maintain the cutting edge competency that patients need and expect. I recommend Dr. Hopkins & Associates Optometry.”

“I got some jeans for my husband today. They had awesome deals (50%)). The girls at the cashier were really nice as they informed me about the deal which made me grab another pair. They were so friendly and smiling although it was the end of the day. I was honestly so tired with a crying baby and they were super nice to us which made my day better. Thank you”

“We found ourselves in the Niagara area on a spontaneous road trip during the grape and wine festival. We could not find a vacancy anywhere. At the last minute, we called Two Rivers based on their reviews, and they happened to have had a cancellation. We were not able to make it in by the check-in time but were told to come anytime before 9 pm, that it was no problem. It's a super cute B&B and the owners are the nicest people ever! They made us feel right at home and ensured we had everything we needed. We slept well, and the room was clean, comfortable, and we had our own private bathroom which is always appreciated in a B&B. There was an issue with not enough hot water in the morning, but the rest of the stay made up for that. We were up earlier than our scheduled breakfast time and went into the dining area to have coffee and tea, and they asked us if we'd like breakfast early, and we said yes. Within a few minutes, we had some of the best apple french toast I have ever had, as well as a huge plate of eggs, potatoes, ham, and a plate of fruit and toast with jam. They also had cereals and anything else you'd need for a great breakfast. After we left, we headed out to do some sightseeing, and I got a call from the owner letting me know I had left one of my rings in the bedroom. She called me as soon as she found it hoping we hadn't left the area. Luckily they are only a few minutes from the Falls, which is where we were. I would definitely recommend this B&B. The owners make it such a welcoming and comfortable experience, and the price can't be beaten.”

“I am difficult to impress when it comes to grocery stores. However, FreshCo. On Lundys/Kalar seems to have that mix of all the tangibles as well as intangibles needed to stand tall amidst my scrutiny and high expectations in this very near and dear category of primary importance. I have to say that I have had great experiences with this supermarket.i have Nothing negative to say. Prices could be lower on a few of the staples I enjoy and eat daily. Good prices, excellent house brand and 8a.m.-10p.m. Monday-Sunday. Well equipped pharmacy, helpful staff, clean aisles and premises are the mark of high standards for this competitive value propositioned grocer.”

“While the Heritage Trail in its current state is not the longest trail it is a nice quaint walk. Lots of birds to be heard and the path itself is well maintained. The trail goes between a community of houses leading towards the back of some Vineyards. With future expansions the Heritage Trail can only get better.”

“I really really needed a pair of dress shoes for my friends wedding after my dog had gotten to mine and chewed them up just days before the wedding. I was running through the Pen when I came up on spring, I explained to the guy working, his name was Joe, my situation and he sprung into action to get me a great affordable pair as I couldn’t break the bank with bills and rent coming up. Thanks Joe you made sure I wasn’t the only guy at my boys wedding with no shoes.”

“Not sure why they call it a park, it's more of an uneven open field with tons of rocks. Not what I thought it would be. That said, it is nice that it's not full of families and screaming kids, it is a nice place to get away. There is an actual park attached to it so families can go there. Lots of nature sounds, forested areas, birds, like a diamond in the rough of the city limits. I read another review that said it's full of ticks, I can imagine at this time of year it would be, it's not maintained. Dress appropriately including hiking boots.”
