(June 6, 2018, 8:33 am)One of the best examples of meadows in Essex, this nature reserve is a haven of tranquility not far from Sun Corner at one end of Billericay High Street. Great for dog walkers and those who love green spaces, with its trails that wander through the meadows, interspersed with rustic benches to rest a while, and shady woodland areas. It's home to a variety of wildlife, birds and native wild flowers, with a small herd of cattle (Red Pols) brought in to graze from late spring throughout the summer.
