  This is without question one of the most authentic English pubs you could find. Dating back to Oliver Cromwell’s era, the Rainbow & Dove is a darling little gem tucked away in the countryside of England. The proprietor is extremely friendly and runs a great ship with a wonderful team who maintain an impeccable standard of food, ambience, and beverage. A great beer & wine list and an outstanding selection of top shelf spirits (ask Andy for a walk through the islands of Scotland one evening when you have time!!) During the summer, events spill out of this tiny cottage into an amazing garden of (I am told) 8 acres. great space for families and events.

  Delicious food all made in house. Much of the produce is grown on site and they have a small holding so it’s all extra tasty. Check out the daily specials. Home made desserts are generous portions.

  Superb costumer service, efficient but still staff will make you feel at home. Good food and rustic lovely environment. Highly recommended!

  Excellent food, lovely service. Having been to lots of terrible places with two young (fussy) kids, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. They asked if we'd like the kids food before our own (a big plus as anyone with kids will know), and brought out teaspoons for them to eat beans. It's the little touches that make a meal.
  The adults food was delicious, fish and chips cooked perfectly and a seasonal burger with a delicious dressing. We'd definitely come here again if we're passing - so close to the M11 so it's easy to break up the journey.
