(November 6, 2018, 6:51 am)Very bright atmosphere. We only popped in for a cup of tea but plenty of it. Have eaten there before reasonable prices. Breakfast is always a winner.

Food is lovely though and it's reasonably priced -

Had a lovely dinner and a chilled glass of wine. Service was brilliant. All the staff were friendly, happy and couldn’t do enough for me.
Why can’t all Harvesters be like this one???
I refuse to go into Tarpots and Rayleigh Weir anymore because you wait ages for the food and in Grays, the staff are always under staffed and stressed that they forget to even look you in the face when serving you? Not my idea of great customer service!!
But at five bells they have it mastered!
The key is getting staff to work for you who actually want to be in the service industry in the first place. The waiters/waitresses really look like they want to be there and want you to have a good experience whilst there.
I never take the time to do reviews on anything, but I really feel as if I have to comment on my experience today. I complimented them all on the way out of the place (one young guy was so polite and very well trained when serving me.) I feel I need to share it with other prospective customers.
Food was hot and really delicious. I’ve Got nothing I can remotely moan about...
Well done to the staff and the management for getting it spot on. -

(August 2, 2018, 4:30 pm)Called here on the spur of the moment and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and efficient service and wide variety of dishes. Even vegetarians well catered for. Family friendly and welcoming. Decor is dated and definitely in need of an upgrade inside but value for money top notch...Worth a try!
