    Great place for a country walk with kids or dogs lovely lake with wildlife

    Awesome place to go for a walk, you can also continue on through to high beach which is amazing for walking and mountain biking. There are many rope swings and trails there too. Makes a great day out.

    Pleasant lake to walk around and explore Epping Forest from. Easy parking and very flat and accessible with surfaced walkways for those not as mobile.

    Lovely place i haven't been to for some forty to fifty years. If my memory is right there used to be rowing boats on the lake. It could do with
    some refreshments near the car park.
