  Many thanks to Joe & Peter. I am Richard of 365Drills and my Peugeot Expert 2.0HDI let me down on the way back from Exeter Devon. I had just travelled 210 of the 250 miles back home and was on the M25 at J15 when what I THOUGHT was the cambelt snapped. Later I was to find out that it was the alternator belt. I Paid £3000 for the van a few years ago. Ex Police speed trap van although 10 years old (53 plate) it had only done 60,000 miles. I thought it was going to be a right off. Anyway got put onto the back of a flat bed that night. Then onto SPANNERS for a diagnosis. Pleased to say the bill was £550 including VAT. Which actually worked out in parts at £135 for the bottom pulley which was the cause of the fault. Replacement alternator belt at £20. Then while the thing was stripped down I opted for safety of a cambelt kit change which cost £140. An oil change at £40 and an oil filter at £15. Labour was very reasonable at £120. The parts all in at £352. The VAT man added £100. So from a crisis which left me stranded on the M25 its cost me £570 total BUT much better value than a write off van. Hand on heart I can say SPANNERS has done a great job for me and I recommend them to you.
