“Having read previous reviews on google I was a little cautious.. but having met and spoken with Dave (the owner) my concerns were eased as to the reasons two customers / potential customers had chosen to leave negative feedback. Dave is a veteran in the car business with over 30 years of experience. He seems to be an established local dealer and said that he only buys reliable select cars. His advice has been friendly and genuine. He prices his cars very competitively (but doesn't move on the price) I bought a Honda Civic from him (Dec 2018) it is fairly perfect. OK I've had it less than a month but even I with my little experience with cars I can tell its a great little car - happy to post back here in a couple of years to check in! Good luck Dave you deserve a string of 5 star reviews here!! (BTW the reviews on Autotrader for the same company are all 5 star)”

“I purchased a SAAB 9-5 estate from here just under a year ago having travelled down from Aberdeen and could not have been made more welcome. My wife had made all the travel arrangements and if I liked the car once seen and tried she would buy it for my 70th birthday. Well the car was immaculate and I got every chance to test drive it on our own with the assurance that if I was not completely satisfied I was under no obligation to purchase and my deposit returned. It drove like a dream so back at the sales office we completed the tax on line and prepared to drive back to Aberdeen. A long journey and what a comfortable drive it was with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I have driven this past year many miles and have had no issues, all pleasure at being in a car so well prepared, my local service garage who are also SAAB specialists gave the car a 100% clean bill of health and said it was a really good buy; so thank you to the manager at Chelmsford SAAB.”

“**UPDATE** After my original review of one star, the dealership have sincerely apologised and rectified any previous complaints. It's fair to say that if brought to their attention, they are quick to resolve any issues and are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the customer is fully satisfied. Although I can't disregard my initial impression, I can say that in the end I was impressed with how my issues were resolved, communication and hand over. I could now be tempted to return. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Will not be a returning customer. My family have been a customer of this dealership for years and my current experience is the nail in the coffin, so to speak. We ordered a car in June, paid a deposit with the expectation of delivery early September. We're now in the middle of October and I've called the dealership for updates on my order and I've been passed around to various members of staff who have no idea on the status of my order. Multiple promises for a call back, still nothing. Eventually spoke to a manager who couldn't careless that they hadn't made any contact with us and was promised a call with an update by the weekend. Still waiting. I'm now not wasting my time phoning them and instead will be cancelling my order and going elsewhere. What a joke. 4 months for 1 update which I've had to chase. I see the dealership still haven't improved its customer service following my last complaint a few years ago. As that was resolved to our satisfaction I decided to give them another try years later, but no improvement. Avoid like the plague. Awful service.”

“Went to look at some that used cars at this establishment was quite good as we was left alone to wander around did not get pounced on hard sell which was a great advantage unfortunately they didn't have the model we was looking for went to look at new cars and again was left to look what I got approached a few times but it wasn't aggressive found the sales personnel polite they were there if you wanted them but not in a forceful manner I will go back in a few weeks to see if the stock has changed”
