“Always eat here and get a good full English breakfast Only gripe would be to give more choices on what to have for set breakfasts, but for freshly cooked food in front of you it can't be beat, never wait too long to be served and the cutlery is clean.. Now back to 5 stars from the "scores on the doors" Council rating system, good improvement. Great place to grab a quick cuppa too! UPDATE NOV 2018 : all prices have shot up across the board, some prices by quite a margin, specials board has been hiked up by 12% making this cafe not as good value as it used to be, knocking a star off for that I'm afraid!”

“We came for a small train ride, a coffee and walk. Track is now a nice length and we could hop off at the stations and return on another train. The grounds have nice sculptures and things to see, ideal for a half day with kids or a bit longer with a picnic. Facilities were clean and tidy.”

“We arrived at the Crusader, It was a cold autumn afternoon aproximatly 3:37pm. I reversed the car into one of the far spaces towards the back of the pub along a row of trees. We walked in through the back entrance to find a group of locals sitting at the table nearest to the bar. They looked, we looked, we were not familiar faces but they could recognise we ment no harm. The bar maid greeted us with a smile, her energy was warm and pure. She poured me a stout and an IPA for my companion then we ordered chips. We sat down at the dinning area by the window on the soft seating provided. It was cosy, before much time had passed the food arrived and we tucked into the tastey grub. After that well-needed feast we set to work writing poetry and sketching Junkyard Mermaids on the pages of our handmade books from scraps. The time had crept upon us, and we had to depart. Before leaving I used the facilities which where warm, very warm. The whole experience was warm on that cold Autumn afternoon.”

“Willow Garden Day Nursery is one of, if not the best nurseries in the area. The staff are attentive and caring to all of the children and treat them as though they are their own. They are also friendly and approachable and strive to get the best out of every child in their care. My little one has come on leaps and bounds since attending this nursery and i owe them alot. As a parent its a tough choice to leave your child anywhere but you would never question this with Willow Garden. Children are involved in all sorts of activities both inside and outside in the vast garden and are encouraged to go out of their comfort zone to build up their confidence. I will be absolutely devastated when my daughter has to leave. I feel like they are all part of the family now and will miss them all dreadfully!”
