“HGV Advice.... Report to gate house on arrival, the girl who dealt with me was brilliant, polite and helpful. I was directed straight onto a bay, which was easy to get on as there is so much room to manoeuvre around in. Once on the bay, walk down to the transport office and hand your keys in. You can sit in the waiting room or there is a canteen upstairs. Toilet facilities are nice, although there are the normal signs that a few animals use them! Ive tipped here 5-6 times and every time the staff in the office have been chatty and witty, you can actually have a conversation without them looking down their nose at you!!!! Once tipped remember to get a gate pass to get out of the port, the policeman wont let you out without it!”
