“Fantastic aquatics store all around: - Lovely, friendly owners who are willing to chat and give great advice regarding any fish-related problems you are having, ideas for tanks, or just general discussion about the hobby. - Wide selection of fish - This is a big one because in the UK this seems a rarity for some reason - Clean, algae free tanks! The condition of the tanks shows how much they care about the fish, and how much effort they put in to keep them happy and healthy! - This is another big one - They quarantine all of their new stock to ensure that you get a healthy fish when you buy from them (Note that this is usually not the case in bigger stores, such as chains like Pets at Home) In my opinion, smaller shops like this are much much better than the bigger ones (particularly chains), as they are often family run, which means they usually tend to treat their customers [and fish] far better - So you get happier, healthier fish, and a better experience! 10/10 recommend - Most certainly the best shop in the area for freshwater fish (I live 30 minutes away without traffic, and I am always willing to make the trip).”
