(December 2, 2014, 9:35 pm)This centre is a real gem, hidden off Slade Green Road. (Chrome Road which is a brand new road), leading to the Slade Green & Howbury Community Centre and Library is opposite the Slade Green Christian Fellowship Church, next to Elm Road. Once you have found Chrome Road which is a narrow road leading to the centre you will see a sign for the Slade Green & Howbury Community Centre, under that Haberdashers' Aske's Crayford Academy the primary phase. This is next door to Slade Green Primary School.
This brand new building has amazing facilities for community users and for hire, great library with new books for all, very good interior design, with a reading den for children. Huge wall mounted pictures of the surrounding area add a real touch of class in this light and airy place.
On site is also the Crimson Cafe which serves Barista Coffee, latte, cappuccinos and more. With warm food and snacks. Good service.
