  Helen recently provided us with antenatal support and was incredible. She was extremely friendly, approachable and clearly very experienced in her work. Throughout my pregnancy Helen provided great insights and advice and left me feeling mentally prepared for labour and motherhood. I had some complications towards the end of my pregnancy and being able to talk this through with Helen really helped me not only understand what all the medical lingo actually meant but put my mind at ease.
  She has a straight talking style which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend her to others.

  Where would we be without our 'Mary Poppins' Helen? She saw us through pregnancy, childbirth, and the first 8 weeks of parenthood. She was an invaluable support to us when we we needed guidance, reassurance or confidence at a life-changing time. With so many options, decisions and routes in pregnancy/labour/parenthood we appreciated her straight-talking style. She was there for us when our labour took an unexpected direction, when we brought our son home, and during my c-section recovery - when her postpartum advice and care was a huge help. She made sure I took care of my own health and body when I was only concerned with caring for my new baby, checking us both over regularly and giving us the information and tools to cope. I always felt totally comfortable and at ease with her even when I hadn't slept, felt rubbish and didn't want to see or talk to anyone. Other things she helped us with include breast/bottle feeding, bathing our newborn, sleep setups and routines, and what to expect in the coming weeks which really prepared us. She not only gives advice but helps in practice, watching, directing and being hands-on if necessary. She really helped us find our feet and without her we would have been much more worried parents. Her time is worth every penny. I recommend her to everyone, and we will be booking her again with our next baby!

  We engaged Helen Taylor to give us private midwifery support last year after the birth of our twin boys. Helen has a way of making you feel as though things are instantly under control when she is around. We found her to be professional, knowledgeable, available, patient and kind. We would not hesitate to recommend Helen to new parents who need the support and reassurance of a person with a great deal of experience in childbirth and baby care.
