Modigliani- Sartorial Elegance for Men

Could have been 5 stars. I was passing by on a Saturday afternoon when I spied a suit on special in the window. Went in and got a fitting with the help of Roger (reminded me of a younger Lenny Henry). Roger was charming and competent. Agreed to buy the suit if alterations to sleeves and trouser legs are done by the following Monday afternoon. Also bought a matching shirt and tie. Paid for the lot and went away with the tie and shirt. Returned about 5pm Monday and no suit - still at the tailor. Many apologies and explanations from proprietor Rudi who agreed to have the suit ready by next morning delivered by taxi (suit needed for special occasion). Rudi calls our home and asks me to meet him at the railway station at 7.15pm later on the Monday. At 7.20pm I receive the suit. Tuesday when I wear it for the first time it fits perfectly. And the shirt still fits after a wash and iron. So kudos to Rudi for going that extra mile....thank you.

Good service given to me, given plenty of time which I like. Impressed by their shirts and nice fabric selection
