Windy.
Awesome scenery drive there and back. Some times you can see the sun going down on the side of the mountains and at the same time the moon is appearing on the side of the Bay. Which you have a high view of it from there. Is always windy but warm. There is places to hike. A nice parking space to leave your vehicle. We saw some people flying gliders too. The only down is that people like to drive very fast on that road. It can be crowded some times specially in summer. It is best to move at of the way and let them pass.
Great place to watch stars and city lights at night.
Beautiful place to get closer to your dreams!!!!!
Good place to observe the whole Bay Area.

Windy Hill has about 1300 acres of land with about 12 miles of multiuse trails for hikers, bicyclists and equestrians. Habitats include forested ridges, valley floors (Hamms Gulch, Eagle, Razorback Ridge, and Lost Trails), grassy ridges (Spring Ridge Trail) and spectacular views of the bay and surrounding valley (Anniversary Trail).
127 reviews of Windy Hill Open Space Preserve "If you park on Skyline, you can do the easy loop around Windy Hill and back but if you want to do a serious walk/hike, you'll be going downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back.
