(September 2, 2018, 5:43 pm)Please don't come here... It is a Perfect Redwood Eden without any crowds. Again, PLEASE don't visit! It is a short trail and the only loop or round-trip options are extremely cross-country on primitive trails and kinda wild!

(February 15, 2018, 9:41 pm)Beautiful hike, a Lil out there to get to but secluded. Tall tress, little creek running through it too. Also dog friendly, being leash.
(January 28, 2018, 6:41 pm)Nice secluded hike just at the beginning of old la Honda road with redwoods and a little creek. Can be a bit slippery after the rain. Medium uphill grade with switchbacks that lead to schilling lake. You can also connect to Thornewood preserve. There is a bit of space at the trail head to park your car during day time (not allowed between 6pm and 6am).
