  Lovely place. Big park. Nice large cafe and out door cafe. Dog friendly. Nice play area for kids.

  Good place for children and good for dog walking too. Nice cafe and visitor centre run by volunteers. Nice place to walk and see the wildlife.

  Great place to sit relax have a drink or something to eat. They have sandwiches, cakes, biscuits ice cream etc. Real coffee herbal teas soft drinks etc. There are plenty of tables and chairs inside plus outside. Adjoining the cafe is the visitor centre shop selling local produce from Hornchurch and Essex. I bought honey organic lip balm and two tins with a spitfire on one containing mints the other shortbread as gifts for some American friends who loved them. Staff extremely helpful and if you ask will give you a map of the park so you can follow the different tracks and not get lost. Adjacent to the visitors cebtre is a play area for children with a spitfire model they can climb on swings roundabout etc.
