Stanborough Lake, North Side Car Park

Lovely park with anything you need for family fun out :)

I have visited the lakes several times now and me and the kids always have a great time. The north side is great for the kids as they can paddle in the stream and you can purchase fishing nets for £3 to look for fish. You can hire a peddalo out for £10/15 and there is a kids playground which is free and also an adventure course which you have to pay for. Lots of people bring there own bbqs. The only down side is that it does get quite packed when it's hot. The South side is much quieter and it is nice to walk around the lake and sit and have a peaceful bbq it is prettier than the north side. It also has a cafe and restaurant on the South side. Both side are easily accessible if you walk under the bridge.

The Stanborough Lake is a lovely and safe area to take the kids to because they can play run around in the open space, they can play in the shallow parts of the river and can go into p)any area to have different activities like going on the swings slide and a seesaw.

Lovely open spaces, great park for the kids and an onsite cafe. Lots of photo opportunities with wildlife, and of course the lakes.

Really nice park! Lovely walks and lakes, the kids play area is very good and big with lots of different play activities. We spent a nice day outside with the kids and enjoyed it.
I really recommend it
