“We went to an absolutely lovely wedding here. I really appreciate staying at the venue as it was so easy to pop back to the room, get home at the end of the night and see people the next morning. Only 5 pound cab ride from Ware. Also I really recommend a walk around the garden. Formal gardens are beautifully kept and the Japanese structures really interest. Absolutely five star.”

“I stayed at the Manor with my kids for Friday night. Although there was a wedding at the hotel that evening, the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. We went out Friday night in the dark and had a blast with the chess game. We played again on Saturday. In the afternoon, the kids cuddled in the upstairs lounge reading books. I will totally stay there again!! My only suggestion would be to renew the mattresses, they seem aged and have minimal padding. My thinking is when they renovated the Hotel the owners were scammed in buying an inferior product and now it’s expensive to replace them. The reason I say this is because everything else is so nice, the towels were plush, the linen was crisp and clean, the duvet was warm. The mattress was just out of place in this class Hotel. I still gave 5 stars because overal the experience was really great.”
