“Had a great stay here. The managers were really friendly and helpful, the showers were clean and had unlimited hot water, and the shower block was lovely and warm (it was freezing outside!). Washing up facilities clean and warm. The site is large so there was loads of room and it has a large play area. Will definitely come back when I'm next in the area :)”

“For a motorway service station hotel this was a very pleasant place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff with simple booking in and out process. A very nice spacious room with ensuite and in room facilities. Would not be my first choice of hotel due to location but would definitely not hesitate to stay here again if needed.”

“Excellent place to stay near London We recently stayed at Lee Valley Caravan Park in Hoddesdon. The ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful, the site is lovely, spacious. Showers are very warm, with heaters making sure that the building was warm too, as were the toilets which were very clean. There is a short wooded dog walk on site and a huge area of grassland across the main road. On site launderette also available - £3 per wash is reasonable for the convenience. Hard standings for caravans with space for awnings. We were also allowed to put up a garden for our dogs. Can't recommend the site enough. If we go down south again, I shall use the same place.”

“Lovely place to stay. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit of a let down, couldn't eat the sausages they tasted cheap. Would have been nice to have been told eggs were cooked to order..instead i stood there with my breakfast getting cold waiting. Shame because the hotel is lovely with no other fault just breakfast let it down.”

“My daughter were in the Camp she is 8 years old. Parents were aloud to drop and pick up children in the car park. I did not visit or see anything else. When she came back she said they sleep on top of a bank beds and she could see the ceiling moving - .Not sure how bad or good does this sounds without seeing it with your own eyes. Otherwise she had a great time sleeping over there for 1 night.”

“Ponsbourne park hotel is a great place to get away from a busy life, without going too far. It's close to London and good transport links, although driving is probably the best route if you want to explore outside the hotel. The rooms are spacious for larger groups and have the facilities you'd expect for a business event. Added bonus of the grounds which we really enjoyed as the weather was so good, we did as much of our activity outside as we could. Food was nice especially the BBQ we had afterwards. Drinks were on a self serve basis, so you can get a tea, coffee or water wherever you needed one. A range of snacks like porridge, fruit and nuts, biscuits and cakes were provided too. Service was attentive and quiet, so we didn't really notice staff coming to do what they needed to do, which is great. It was easy to find someone if i needed help.”

“They really do, a very welcoming place. Great breakfast, shower facilities, toiletries, towels, clean space. TV with Freeview and free WiFi. No A/C, just open a window. Hot in the summer in the room. Nothing to complain about. Perfect for me. Price is good compared to hotels and motels. I am a returning customer. Was nice and worm in the room during winter. Quiet place. Few birds sing early morning. I could sleep better though. I woke up before 6am and I felt it was 9AM. All beds are double beds in each room - I was told. Each room has a small desk to use your laptop or study...”

“This hotel is tucked away and has beautiful woods and scenery. It's quite and I liked the fact you can explore the area, I found some awesome stuff while exploring and along with lots of wildlife. The tree house was beautiful and had a lovely view of the main house. The rooms were nice I do wish the bath was deeper, was a big bathroom and the room was a decent size. The beds were comfy and The view was nice and peaceful. The atmosphere of the entrance and seating area is very relaxing and make me feel at ease. There is free tea and coffee in the temple bar. The staff are amazing i was feeling unwell while staying and they gave me very personal life changing advice which I'm so greatful for. I would recommend and hope to stay again with my dog next time as well behaved dogs and cats are allowed here.”
