  A friendly pub that does food and has outdoor seating for those warm summer days. Handy for the A26.

  Visited in a large family group of 15 for Sunday lunch. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful in particular our waitresses. The food was slow to arrive - an hour from ordering - this may have been due to how busy the restaurant was, it was a very hot day so the tables outside were also full as well as the indoor restaurant. They have a strange policy of taking people to the carvery once the other main meals have been brought out. It would have made more sense for the people having the carvery option to be told when the other mains were almost ready so everyone would be ready to eat at the same time. The food was of a good standard, nobody in our group had any complaints. The prices are very reasonable it cost just under £300 for mains, dessert, and a round of drinks at the table for the 15 of us. We had children in the group and they were able to play in an outside play area with swings and climbing frames etc.. this helped to stop them being bored with the long wait for the food. Overall we would visit again but would hope the long delay for food was a one off.

  Had a meal here with some family members the pub and restaurant are wheelchair accessible and even the table height is suitable to fit a wheelchair up to it comfortably. Everyone's food was delivered together and looked lovely with lots of appreciation all round, I did think my burger was slightly over but I am by no means a connoisseur either.
  
  Another visit, great carvery on a Wednesday night as always lovely food, lovely staff, very accommodating. Will definitely visit again. Glorious outside area and and lovely play area for children.

  Visited the rose revived on a whim after arriving to the area late for some tea!. Not familiar with it or the area in any way so as a complete stranger (as there were plenty of locals) it was a delight. Welcomed by pleasant bar staff, pleasant service throughout my time here and most importantly, great food to accompany a few beers! Small details that were nailed on made a difference to me, and the other guests seated around me!...this place remembers politeness and manors go a long way! Hats off to the staff! Would definitely recommend and if I end up back out this way, I shall be returning!
