  Lovely place for a meal any day of the week, for a drink or even to pop in for lunch. Their sandwiches are so tasty and the service is also top quality.

  It's always been great for food this place. Nice open fires, plenty of space both inside/outside and large car park also. Service always spot on.

  Brilliant squash, coconut and lime soup. Very relaxed and friendly. Good service...not intrusive but always attentive.

  Never been before but will definitely add The Pheasant to our list of places to eat. The entire experience screamed "Class". Subtle, shabby chic decor coupled with an "understated elegance" look to the furniture. The jewel in the crown however is the food. It was excellent. I had the mint and lime harrisa rump of lamb. Delicious. Ali and Sheila had the rump steak. Tender and full of flavour. A totally enjoyable lunch.

  We reserved a table for midday on a Sunday but it was fairly quiet when we arrived.
  Service was friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in and we were quickly shown to our table.
  The pub is light and spacious and it has a big dining area as well as a lovely outdoor space with views over sprawling fields. The menu changes every day and we ordered a seasonal red - very much recommended!
  We both had the mixed beef/pork Sunday roast and it arrived shortly after ordering. The meat was tender, the veg was delicious and sauces were offered on the side. Considering the size of the meal and the quality, we considered it very good value. We then finished with a small sticky toffee pudding and a double espresso. Would recommend and will definitely be returning.
