The delicious food is freshly prepared in an open kitchen and never disappoints. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. In the past I have asked them to make a curry 'not too hot' and they did as I asked without compromising flavour. I always phone in my order for collection and my food is always piping hot and ready for collection on arrival. A+ Mint Leaf!”

“Excellent value for money here - I chanced across this place a couple of years back as it's located about 10 meters from the main road; they were offering a lunchtime special of fish & chips w/ drink for £3.80 and this was written on a sandwich board on the main road. I ordered this meal and really enjoyed the meal when I got home, very good value for money and tasted superb - there are other special offers, not just fish, including saveloys, burgers and chicken. Even now, if I'm feeling peckish, I will go to Claylands for some food and would recommend it w/o hesitation - current offer is a free chips on Tuesday w/ any fish purchase!”

The waiter guided us through the menu, and told us when were we ordering too much food (he was spot on). Food came out quickly, and was was absolutely delicious. Everything was reasonably priced. I didn't realise but they had karaoke rooms for hire via a minimum spend - seemed interesting and will check out.”
