You also get a different selection of cakes sandwiches pastries etc which makes a nice change from the offerings of Starbucks and Costas which are also nice but the same everywhere. I bought a coffee (to be polite) but then looked around and this place is simply a little oasis of peace, beautiful design and simply outrageously polite service. The young man at the till bought my coffee to me and was just so darned pleasant I wondered if I'd slipped into an alternate universe. The biggest chain coffee shops in the world could learn a lot by copying this little place. Gushing?? Absolutely - but this tiny corner of the coffee world sparkles like a polished diamond.”
