“Amazing venue for private parties. Used to be a truckers cafe but now closed. Does occasional parties. It is out of the way so no noise issues. We had a great live band playing until midnight with a DO as well. They can cater or you can do it yourself. Really nice and friendly hosts and allowed us to have what we wanted. “We had our wedding reception at Stanley Halls and it truly was the best day ever. The space is full of such charm and character and there was plenty of space for our 130 day guests and another 20 or so joining us in the evening. The lighting was beautiful - both the natural daylight that streams in through the windows in the day onto the red velvet seats/curtains and the gorgeous festoons and disco lighting in the evening. The staff were amazing - so helpful and eager to make sure everything was just right for us. They also happily liaised with some of the suppliers (caterers, DJs etc) on our behalf. They were so flexible and accommodating compared to other venues we’d looked at where you had to work with their recommended suppliers etc.”

A number of cold drinks as well. On the counter is a range of cakes and small thing to eat. There is a small food menu with soup, paninis, ploughman's and eggs cooked in a number of ways. If you like there is porridge and toast in the morning. Nice little bright shop on the High Street. Looks like there is a private room just off the side. Plus there are little kids books in there as well”

It was very relaxed and good value. We paid for an additional hair mask and head massage for my girlfriend, she said it was nice, but left her hair very knotty.”
