“Just had my Land Rover Discovery in for some tricky parts to be replaced and fixed, all the staff we're very professional and the work needed to be done didn't seem to faze them at all. The lead mechanic looking after my vehicle was very open, honest and went out of his way to tell me exactly how my vehicle was running or not and the extra jobs that needed to be done. This is what I like in a garage and would highly recommend them to anyone.”

“I phoned and spoke with Edward when we recently moved into a new house. He was able to help me with plant choices to suit my needs and budget, come out to my garden to quote for putting the plants in and removing old plants and part of an old patio. His team came out and turned the work around quickly, they were very thorough and helpful. They accommodated a few minor extras on the day for no additional charge which was very nice. I recommend them.”

“Really fabulous personal service. Staff are really friendly and get to know regular visitors well. The pharmacist is very knowledgable and has on a couple of occasions queried doctors prescriptions to the benefit of my family. You couldn’t ask for better service!”

“Hunsdon Aerodrome formerly a WWII Bomber airfield, still retains a dramatic pillbox just outside the clay pidgeon shooting fort. Behind the fort to the far left is the aerodrome offices and memorial. On non-shooting days there is an incredible peace over there. Quite calming. The road up is a challenge to your driving skills but the planes are smaller and cheaper to fly. A true aerodrome nugget. From a WWII historical point, this is the Aerodrome that the squadron of Mosquitos took off from on that daring precision bombing mission to Amiens prison to aid the escape of the French Resistance fighters held captive; breachìng the outer wall of the prison and bombing the SS mess to prevent the freed french from coming under fire from their German captors.. Local awesome history on our doorstep.”
