“This is a small petrol station with an expected small ship inside. There are air and water facilities next to the building and plenty of space for all sorts of vehicles. Prices here aren't too bad and seem to almost always be better than the BP garage 1 minutes away. Staff are satisfactory and you can pay using the mobile app which is MUCH easier and a lot quicker when paying for fuel. I strongly recommend using the app as it can be used across all Shell stations. ”

“This was the first time I have been to the Strafford since the recent refurbishment. It's clean and up to date. It's was lovely and warm too! We had a meal which was also Good. The Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a quick peep at what they have done with the garden area. I was so impressed with the new outside space. It's doubled the size of the pub. It has three levels of decking. Plenty of seating. It's well lit up for the evenings too. I'm told there are heaters outside but I didn't see them as I only had a very quick look outside. Can't wait for the summer it's going to be the place to be on a summers evening!”

“Before I started personal training sessions with Rob, I had rarely stuck to an exercise routine for more than 3-4 weeks as motivation would soon be lost due to limited progress and a busy weekly schedule that would get in the way due to a lack of planning. Also a fear of being judged by other gym member's did not help either. I was under the impression that my diet was reasonably healthy. During my first few sessions with Rob, I kept a food diary and when we reviewed it together I realised that my diet was not as healthy as I had previously thought. I learnt more from Rob about diet and nutrition in a few sessions, than I had done in the past 27 years. Prior to starting my training programme although I was within a healthy weight range. My body fat percentage was way above what it should be for my age, height and gender. So my goal was to reduce my body fat percentage, increase strength and muscle mass. Rob set me a training programme of one intensive fully body work out once per week and I also incorporated some less intensive cardio sessions on other days. At first I didn't think one fully body work out per week would make much difference but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I started to make steady progress throughout my time training with Rob. Every so often new gym equipment or free weight exercises were introduced, as well as higher reps or heavier weights in order to continue progressing. In a short time I went from struggling to lift 3-4kg dumbbells when doing a chest press to being able to lift 8-9kg dumbbells with the same amount of reps, which was a huge motivational boost! During the first three months as well as increasing strength, I had also lost 2 inches off my waist, 3 inches off my thighs and hips. 2 inches from my upper back and calfs. I was really pleased with the continuous progress made and would not have been able to have done it without Robs advice, encouragement and knowledge on nutrition. I would highly recommend Rob as a Personal Trainer to anyone struggling with motivation or looking to make a change but unsure where to start or finding they've reached a plateau in there current training programme. Or if you're like me and somewhat anxious at the thought of walking in to a crowded gym and worried about being judged by other experienced gym members, then training with Rob would be the best thing you could do for your health and confidence.”
