“My husband, our three dogs and I were traveling from Florida through Birmingham’s notoriously bad section of interstate 65, one hour away from our destination when our RV had a blowout. We found and called McGriff Tire and were amazed that not only did they have the big tire we needed, their emergency road service technician Ricky Dale showed up in less than thirty minutes. In short order he had us back on our way. We tried to tip him to show our appreciation but he would not even take our money! Thanks to manager Ed and the whole crew for saving our trip! “Derrick saved me from a growing bill from Frieghtliner shop. Freightliner had quoted me 2400.00 to fix an issue of loss of boost I had with them already for 2 weeks and already out of 4100.00 and same problem. I called Derrick for advise, explained everything of my issue and what I was being told at freightliner. He had the patience to hear me out and the knowledge to pinpoint my root cause. So I bought the part he told me would fix my issue and he came out to the FlyingJ to replace it. Less then an hour my truck was running and I was confident I would not have the issue again. Without a doubt his work did the job. Ive pickup my first load in two weeks and heading home finally. I wish I had gone to him first. I would have made it home for Mother's Day and I would have been making money instead of giving it to those crooks at Freightliner. I hope this review keeps others from making the error I made in taking my truck to Freightliner... just call Derrick... and get rolling making money and back home to your family.”

I came in with a coolant leak (blown hose) and inside of 4 hours I was fixed and ready to go.... very nice facilities, including showers, sleeping rooms, laundry, Break Room with vending, microwave and soda fountain and more.
