“Lovely gardens, even on a cloudy day. Had a peaceful walk around the 5 acre lake and enjoyed exploring the flora, fauna, and art twined throughout the grounds’ other trails. One trail is a storybook walk for kids that features an area for gnomes and their homes. Butterflies, ducks, fish, and honeybees were spotted. Well-placed seating throughout the grounds. The building in the center of the gardens, Aldridge House, showcases artwork (most of which is for sale) from various artists throughout the year and displays historical documents of the gardens’ beginnings. There is a gift shop as well. Very kind staff members. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to this free public garden - a Hoover gem.”

“Awesome place to learn a new skill. Instructors are very knowledgeable and go in depth to make sure each student understands the material being presented. I am enrolled in the HVAC class at the moment. Mr. Mark Pearson is the instructor of the class. Great instructor. The class is laid back which makes learning easier. There are a group of guys from the Birmingham Housing Authority enrolled also. A great group of guys. Overall a fantastic class. I give this class 5 thumbs up. 👍👍👍👍👍”

I’ve used the website to schedule appointments both times and it is incredibly easy to do and the website is easy to navigate (and I sincerely appreciate being able to use their website to schedule appointments since I am hearing impaired). Mr. Appliance sends confirmation texts along with notifications that someone is on the way - great communication. Highly recommend Mr. Appliance services! As I’ve stated, I’ve used them twice before (washing machine and disposal) and will continue to use them in the future; they were knowledgeable, professional, very kind and polite, overall amazing people.
