Jewel Lake Bed & Breakfast

My new favorite place to stay when I have to go to anchorage! Clean, homey rooms in a quiet location. A well stocked kitchen for breakfast items. No heavy scented cleaning products.

Before we were able to meet everyone, we were pleased with our choice of location but even better after. Rob and Jess who are the owners and Liz who takes care of the facilities are outstanding people. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. We spent a wonderful week celebrating our 21st anniversary. It was home away from home.
The last day of our stay my wife had a heart attack which was overwhelmingly difficult. We were four thousand miles from home and alone. Everyone came to our aide to do absolutely anything and everything they could to ease our burdens. They extended our stay at no expense to us which was so unexpected in this day. They gave me a sense of having family around me in a time that I was very alone.
I am so glad we stayed at Jewel Lake.

A convenient, comfortable place to stay near the airport.

This place was perfect for my 2 night stay in Anchorage! Great central location and a short drive to the airport. It is off a busy road, but I did not have any issue with road sound once in the house. The room was clean and tidy, there was a kitchen available for cooking, and the breakfast selection was great. So many options! Also, I very much appreciated how great the shower head was. If I am in the area again, I will definitely stay here!
