“My husband and I usually tent camp but now having small children we decided to rent an RV. Everything was done online which is great for social distancing. They were very accommodating to our needs. We changed our dates after booking and they assisted us with no worries. When picking up the Rv they were very thorough! RV was clean looked brand new. She answered all our questions. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is because for the price I think cleaning exterior and interior should be including . They said if we did not scrub off the bugs they would charge up to 75$ . So we took it to a car wash for 9 dollars. We ended up receiving our deposit back minus the generator usage fee. ( So minus 9$). I would recommend them 100%!”

“Great Service! Great Experience! I read the reviews for all the U-Haul business in Anchorage and many of them are negative. I'm happy to say that my experience was positive, so here are ( 5 TIPS ) to help make your experience positive too! 1. Call 2-3 days prior to renting. Some of the rentals require a 24 hour notice. I called twice after 5PM, on hold twice for over 20 minutes, and I had to hang-up twice. Call earlier in the day to reach a U-Haul employee. 2. Look at the dimensions of the U-Haul rental online. If you rent a (6x12) Cargo Trailer you'll need to know the door opening is (4'10"x5') if you plan to load something large. 3. Rentals have a return time, so make sure you know when to return the rental! I rented a 12' utility trailer at 8AM and I was told to return it by 2PM. 4. You can't rent from one U-Haul location and return it at another without asking permission. The Traffic Manager must allow the return to another U-Haul location. 5. Returning the U-Haul rental to another U-Haul location IS NOT FREE! I rented a 12' utility trailer for $44.95 and the cost to drop off at another location would've been another $44.95. “Stephen was a great tour guide - helping us match budget to tourist sites and making the most of a week in Alaska. I was amazed how much was in reach of Anchorage, and how helpful it was to have his insider take on what we should invest a lot time to see, versus what might be better catching as a quick stop on the way to some other destination. His company also got us a great hotel and boat tour in Seward that we wouldn't have been able to find on our own. I'd recommend reaching out early - he and his wife are full of Alaska knowledge and can help with trip planning before becoming overwhelmed with all the things available to do in AK.”

“The staff here has been very helpful and friendly, and they are doing a great job keeping customers informed with incoming exercise equipment on Facebook. We recently bought weights there, and I travel quite a bit for work. My wife called and they set aside plates for her to pick up at our convenience since she is taking care of twins solo right now! I will definitely return to purchase more equipment from this PIAS location in the future!”

“Beer and food were both awesome! Mushroom soup on special was rich and creamy and flavorful and was packed with mushrooms! Pretzels and sauces were a great starter, as was the mac and cheese. Staff was attentive and friendly. Outdoor seating area was nice in summer, though the industrial are didn’t offer much of a view. Prices super reasonable and was a great stop for a midday beer and snacks in the sun. We will be back!!”
