“Good vibe, good people, good prices! Local own, extensive menu (both food and drinks), affordable and yummy! This place is hopping! Went on a Friday brunch time and there were diners and take out orders the whole time. Tried their tuna melt and chicken cranberry sandwich, both are great (taste was not out of this world per se, but the ambiance and quality makes it worth coming back for!) I didn't find the Friday-only chili that great given that everyone was really excited for it, not a repeat for me. Coffee selection was vast and intriguing combos that I'd come back to try them all!”

“Great Service Polite Accommodating I needed my hair cut on the fly. I had a professional event an needed a trim. I moved recently to the Muldoon area. I didn't have time to drive 15min across town to get one. So to Google maps I turn. There are like 5 or 6 other barber shops in the immediate area. I struck out at my first choice one of the Yankee Barber shops. I walked up to the door and saw that both barbers were busy with one waiting. I didn't have time to wait so on to the next, was the thought that I was rolling with. The barber came out as I was walking back to my truck. He called me over and asked me if I needed a haircut. Yes, I replied. He asked me why I didn't come in. Because I thought it was a full house already. He said "Come inside. Well hook you up hey you looking good." The cut was good. The price was $$. The fact that he came out to get me spoke volumes about his hospitality. Not many experiences around like that anymore.”

“This place is simply amazing!! We stayed for 30 full days in the summer as we waited on our permanent Alaska residence to become available. Staying 30 days allowed us to get a true feel of the house and all the beauty surrounding it! We're a family of five, plus 3 fur babies so we really lived in every room of this home. Our kids (12, 8, and 5) and the pups alike all loved the house! So much so the kids wanted to make it our "Alaska Home!" We all slept every comfortably and enjoyed many days and nights on the balconies enjoying, dinner, coffee and wine for the adults. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a decent meal and we loved the grill and fire pit. The views are breathtaking and the neighbors were pleasant whenever we would occasionally see them. If we had concerns, it was very easy to reach the owners and they were always very prompt to take care of whatever we needed. If given the opportunity we will stay here again! We highly recommend this place!”
