NAK Martial Arts Center

I've practiced various martial arts most of my life and I was a junior instructor and receptionist in higschool for a dojo. I wanted a program for my 5 year old that would instill discipline and confidence in him while learning exercise routines and practical self defense skills. I wanted to avoid "flashy" "sporty" martial arts. Never heard of Kajukenbo until I started researching kids martial arts programs in Gilbert. Very pleasantly surprised and impressed with the well-roundedness of this discipline and how great the instructors are with young and small children. The aerobics, grappling, striking, footwork, learning to fall, are exactly what I was looking for. They incorporate fun into each class while commanding respect and attentiveness of the kids. I've seen a remarkable improvement in the confidence of my son and he genuinely enjoys the challenge and competitiveness of every class. All the other parents are very friendly and engaged.

You will never find a more Incredibly well-trained Martial Artist family. These family-centered professionals take children's self-esteem to a higher level of confidence. We have been training for over 12 years at NAK. Our now 23 yrs old daughter and 17-year-old son have developed into wonderful young adults. One of their motto "Tell me who you are " and "I'll tell you who you hang out with" has strengthened our children's ideals and beliefs.

My husband and I started training at the young age of 40. Don't doubt yourself because of your age! Now, in our early 50's, we are still physically fit and have sharpened our toolbox!

We have been attending NAK for 5 months and NAK has been so amazing for my 2 boys . They both play soccer and when they combined the physical And mental Strength they have gained at NAK, their in game performance just elevated . NAK teaches kids to be more confident, to believe in them selfs and the benefits of hard work. Professor Sal and his brother Louis take time to help the Kids under stand and walk them through scenarios . They are truly fantastic and great with people. The combination of NAK physical and mental Strength + Soccer = Success for my family. I would recommend this place to anyone , especially if they play other sports.

We all have coaches in our life of one sort or another but none ever that can compare and truly help your character and values in the way that martial arts can and does. Professor Sal and his family of instructors have been a part of our life for 6 yrs now and has not only made a difference in my life as an adult but in my 10 yr old son's as well. Respect, Self Control, Honesty, Courage, Loyalty, and Integrity is what we all want for ourself and our children and everything they teach here. I trained at NAK Martial Arts for 4 years and I highly recommend it! The instructors are all great, everyone cares about you and they become your second family. Big emphasis on respect, self-discipline and a positive lifestyle. Great classes and workouts! I gained a lot of strength and confidence from training at the NAK!
