“This is an awesome dentist! My 3 year old loves it so much he cried because it was Monday and he had to wait 3 more days until his appointment! And when he went, he kept talking to the ladies saying how tasty the toothpaste was! I love it as a parent because the dentist and technicians are very kind and obviously trained for children because they explain everything and are calm and quick. Dr Cotton is also extremely knowledgeable and helps with tongue ties etc. I’m very glad to have found this place for my kids!”

I have had a very hard time in AZ finding a Dentist that is honest, professional and does decent work. I am so grateful for Avalon and the entire staff. This is the first dental experience in Arizona where I didn't have to meet with a closer and negotiate my bill before we could even talk about getting work done. First, it was found out during my emergency exam due to a broken tooth during COVID 19 lockdown that i was in need of a root canal that needed a specialist. I was referred out, expected at the other facility and insurance was already properly communicated. Let me say that again. AVALON DENTAL SET ME UP WITH A SEPARATE PROFESSIONAL TO PROPERLY CARE FOR ME AND ENSURED THAT THEY EVEN HAD MY INFO SO IT WOULD BE LESS STRESSFUL. After getting the necessary treatment done at the specialist I was now ready for Avalon. They welcomed me back, where prepared for my visit and even had my insurance in place.... excuse me while I wipe away tears of joy at the level of PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! “I had an excellent experience with my daughter, so I had braces installed for my son. It turned out not to be the best decision for him, I accept responsibility for that. He had them on for about 5 months. I was concerned about staining his teeth. Since I had a good payment history with them in the past (all 6000 out of pocket, save a 500 coupon), and had already paid 600 down and 200/month, I was hoping they would work with me. I just don't want his teeth stained. Unfortunately, that will cost another 1600 before they can do it. I love their work, if your teeth are jacked, they are expensive but it's worth it. In my son's case, his teeth were straight. I was overly excited and made a very costly blunder, and he may have his teeth stained because i didn't have 1600 in April. Plus, every month I don't have the full amount, they still bill 200 (it doesn't reduce that amount). They do great work, though.”

“They are honest, professional, friendly, the best dentist clinic in the Valley. We went through a few dental clinics, they were ok but DDS surpasses them all! Dr. Yates is an amazing dentist, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable, you know you are going to get the best dental work with him. The hygienists are friendly, professional, caring, Kate even took her time to check my BP when I said that I was feeling dizzy. Donita, is amazing to work with. Her super friendly and loving attitude, she even had my coffee ready after my cleaning so it wasn't too hot to drink :) She will also work with your insurance and explain everything to you, answer every single question, doesn't matter if you make the same question :) You don't have insurance? No worries, she'll work a payment plan with you. She's the back bone of the clinic :)”

“I recently had 2 root canals by Dr. Nguyen and totally impressed and pleased with everything about my visit to this office. Dr. Nguyen and his staff and assistant and office managers were so kind and helpful and efficient and thorough with all aspects of the visit, from the scheduling to insurance to the actual procedure. Dr. Nguyen is so professional and experienced in this ultra-specialized field of dentistry (see his bio on their website, it's pretty amazing). I've had about a half-dozen root canals throughout my life and had complications more than once, but not with Dr. Nguyen. I waited a month before leaving the review so that I could honestly say how great my teeth feel. I had read a couple of reviews that were not so nice and I was a little nervous about going to him and I do not understand those other not-such-nice reviews; one has to take them with some level of understanding that no one likes going to a dentist and especially to have root canals and can be too critical. Dr. Nguyen is not chit-chatty, which actually I prefer, because he's so focused and concentrating on doing the best job. He asked me several times during the procedures if I was OK and asked if I needed anything and he let me know what was happening; he was kind and personable with me. I highly recommend this endodontist. When it comes to root canal and other endodontic procedures, you want an expert like Dr. Nguyen.”
