An appointment will be an all day commitment but the doctor is worth it! When I was told my son had a possible torn retina I was freaked out, to say it mildly. The office staff has an office full of patients they juggle and are very clear on how things run. The Dr is NEVER sitting his staff has him flying from one room to the next seeing patient as fast as one human can. He is busy for a reason! While sitting (wishing I had brought my crochet) MANY people in the waiting room said they would never see another specialist for their eyes and all had multiple reasons, which made me feel a lot better as a mother. The staff was yelled at and disrespected on several occasions while I was there, and they only had smiles and cheer in their voices for the next person, no idea how much they are paid but it is not enough if that is the norm. While extremely busy Dr. Kunimoto gave my son and I all the attention we needed and I never felt rushed when he was examining, treating, or explaining things to us. As long as you go in with a full day, a full battery, maybe a craft, and a lot of patience you will not want to go to anyone else.
