I stumbled upon them while calling around in December frantically needing to talk about the option of ablation before my insurance ran out (after several years of issues and a couple of other Drs). The staff was helpful at reaching out to my insurance company and getting me seen ASAP to determine if that was the right procedure for me. Dr. Brass-Jones was caring and informative during my several visits. The staff was efficient, professional, and kind. The office is home-y and clean but non-sterile feeling. “My first encounter with Dr. Yelamanchili was at the Cath Lab at Banner Heart Hospital, Feb 14, 2019. (Valentine's Day.) Where he saved my life, after I had a heart attack. Since that time, he has continued to work with me to greatly enhance my quality of life. He recently performed an angiogram on my right leg to clear out blockages and enhance blood flow to my leg, to aid in the healing of a bad cut in my leg which for five months wouldn't heal. (Since then, it healed in three weeks.) He has taken me from being nearly bed ridden, to being able to shop with my wife, and even work in the yard planting trees. Currently, Im planning a family vacation to Florida where I'm hoping to be able to take long walks on the beach with my beatuiful wife, once again. As Dr. Yelamanchili says, "Walk, walk, walk! “An appointment will be an all day commitment but the doctor is worth it! When I was told my son had a possible torn retina I was freaked out, to say it mildly. The office staff has an office full of patients they juggle and are very clear on how things run. The Dr is NEVER sitting his staff has him flying from one room to the next seeing patient as fast as one human can. He is busy for a reason! While sitting (wishing I had brought my crochet) MANY people in the waiting room said they would never see another specialist for their eyes and all had multiple reasons, which made me feel a lot better as a mother. The staff was yelled at and disrespected on several occasions while I was there, and they only had smiles and cheer in their voices for the next person, no idea how much they are paid but it is not enough if that is the norm. While extremely busy Dr. Kunimoto gave my son and I all the attention we needed and I never felt rushed when he was examining, treating, or explaining things to us. As long as you go in with a full day, a full battery, maybe a craft, and a lot of patience you will not want to go to anyone else.”

“Dr. Jamal has saved my eye sight three times. He successfully repaired two separate detached retinas. My vision was 20/20 following each surgery. A third surgery was needed (five years later) when an intraocular lens ( from cataract surgery 20 years earlier) tore through the lens sac and attached itself to the repaired retina . Dr Jamal is a skilled surgeon to say the least. Other Ophthalmologists have told me they were amazed I could see at all. Dr Jamal is well worth "waiting" for!!!”
