The Refuge Café

If you want to support local, make sure you also support a place that is there for a better cause. The Refuge Cafe is just that place. The selection is fantastic and the service is great. There are plenty of competition as it is. But remember your dollars don't boost a corporation's stock but helps impact lives around the world. You can make the world a better place, one cup at a time.

Love this shop! Food was amazing when they still served food, but coffee is phenomenal nonetheless now that COVID has shut down the rest of their operations. Good atmosphere and they have great ethics.

This coffee shop is superb! The staff are friendly, welcoming, and the coffee itself was amazing! The service was great and efficient, and we couldn't have asked for more! We will come back here next week to try their pastries and coffee matcha. We strongly recommend this place as well if you are into coffees!

service is always awesome even when they have a full house. the service was helpful and kind. the place has a nice feel to it. food is similar to a cafe in portland i liked.

i like it here, excellent food & service. will surely make a return trip. feels like a place in charlotte that i enjoyed visiting.
