This is one pharmacy that treats its customers the way they should be treated, unlike CVS, Walgreens and the drug stores. The employees here go out of their way to help their customers. A tremendous thanks goes to Alex, the pharmacy tech, for continuously providing great service. And, they ALWAYS honor the GoodRx discounts, unlike the big drug stores. Switch to this Safeway for your medications. They are affordable, and dependable! They don’t wait till the day your prescription needs to be filled to check if it’s in their inventory; crazy concept, I know. The pharmacist is also the best I’ve encountered, as he too does what needs to be done to ensure I receive my medications on time. Everyone here is very pleasant and easy to deal with, in a time when new laws and regulations make it very difficult on patients. Thank you Safeway pharmacy team!!

I was reluctant to write a review because every time I have, the personnel gets promoted and ends up leaving the pharmacy. Which is great for them, but bad for those of us who grew to trust and appreciate them. So with that, I will say that Tate, who is the pharmacy manager has been nothing but WONDERFUL. He goes above and beyond. If they are short stocked, he will even go to another store pharmacy if he needs to, to take care of a customer. I know, because he did this for me. The pharmacy techs Brianna and Debra (the two who have taken care of me the most are also just as wonderful. They reserve their stock so they always have my medications when I need them. Safeway pharmacy will even hold my prescriptions on file when needed. This is something the big chain pharmacies refuse to do. At least they wouldn't do it for me. So, I transferred to Safeway about 2 years ago, after years of frustration with those big chain pharmacy's. Safeway will be my family pharmacy as long as I live in Phoenix. I want to thank them all for taking such great care of me!!!
