“I love the Zoo! It’s amazing and we always stop through the gift shop on the way out to help support our community in any way. People stop complaining about the price of admission as you walk in with 5 star bucks drinks costing way more than the ticket! This place rocks and it’s worth EVERY DOLLAR!”

“One of my favorites places! Everything is great. Service is awesome. I love the orange french toast. The berry cake is super tasty. And of course the coffee! My favorite is the dirty Chai. And if you sit on the batio you can bring your fur babies.”

“The zoo is a great place to spend the day. The animals are fun to look at, and there is a lot to learn. The food is also really great. They have a lot of cool events, and the membership is very affordable. My favorite part is the sting ray bay which costs a little extra, but it's worth every penny. Ellie is the friendliest ray.”

“Gertrude’s is a real treat in the dessert. Four of us had lunch after a trip to the botanical gardens and left very happy indeed. The botanical inspired cocktails were a real highlight. Food could not be faulted. We shared 3 appetisers which were all delicious (if not a little large) and then a mixture of meat entrees and salads. For vegetarians this place serves great food. The waiting staff were superb and the wine they suggested was perfect for the meal and time of day.”

“This is a really neat view. When you enter the park, go the to zoo and turn left, this road will take you to the parking lot just below the Hole in the Rock. It is a circular trail that goes behind the rock and brings you up in back. It really is only a 5 minute walk. There is no handicapped access. If you use a cane allow a bit more time. We went just after school started back up and so there weren't many people there in the late morning.”

“A MUST GO attraction if you are in the Phoenix area. Gorgeous desert garden, with various plants & cacti blooming. Very interesting & educational to learn about an entirely different ecosystem. Lunch at the cafe was delightful w/ delicious salads, etc. & great service. Look for the Chihuly art glass installations in the garden around cafe. Be sure to go early, take hats, sunblock & water if there during heat.”
